SHUNKAI PENG FROM SHANGAI WINS 4th DB OPEN BLITZ
Saturday 12 December the 4th edition of the Discovery Bay Open Blitz took place in the North Plaza community center. The event was played over 9 qualifier rounds of 5 minutes per person after which the players were grouped in the final groups with a time control of 3 minutes and 2 seconds increment.

NOVEMBER EOM AUTUMN EDITION: MEDALS AND TROPHIES
After the EOM in September and the EOM held in October, the last EOM of the Autumn cycle was held on Sunday 28 November in Sheung Wan. This End of Month event is only for our students who compete against their peers in terms of the Step level they are currently training in.

ALBERTO MUNIZ WINS AUTUMN OPEN WITH 6.5 OUT OF 7!
On November 27, after 7 Fridays of fine chess, we finally came to the prize giving of the top 3 players in this year's edition of the Autumn.

WING KI WINS AUTUMN YGP WITH 7 OUT OF 7!
On Sunday 8 November the final rounds 6 and 7 of the Autumn YGP, the first YGP event in the 2015-16 season, took place at our Sheung Wan center.

OCTOBER EOM - END OF MONTH - CHESS ON HALLOWEEN!
The October EOM took place in Discovery Bay for all our students to visit and compete ... on 31 October ... Halloween!

SEPTEMBER EOM - END OF MONTH - SHOWS GREAT CHESS SPIRIT
The September EOM was played on Saturday 26 in Discovery Bay and Sunday 27 in Sheung Wan. It was not the best weekend to hold the event as several students were out of town due to the long Mid-Autumn weekend, but nonetheless we were glad to see 25 of our students play in this internal competition...

ALL CAISSA YOUTH WIN PRIZES IN ALL-ESF SCHOOLS QBS JUNIOR STAR CHESS TOURNAMENT!
Sunday 20 September Quarry Bay School held its 4th edition of the Junior Star Chess Tournament for a dozen or so ESF Primary schools in Hong Kong. We had 9 students from Caissa ... and all got a prize!
