Alto Father-Son Combination Wins the 2nd Caissa Family Team Chess

On 20 October we played our second family team chess event of the year (first time see here on Facebook some photos). because the level gaps between some teams or team players was very large, we spilt the event into two halves: one part where the less experienced players would play against each other and the more experienced as well, gaining points for the family team, and the other half was the traditional team vs team, with board 1 and board 2 players.

The event was meant to be casual, social, and relaxed - and that was indeed the case. In very good atmosphere the games were all played amicably.

In the end, counting the results of both halves, family Wu ended 3rd with 6 points, family Tu with 6.5 points ended 2nd and the Alto family ended 1st with 10 points. Best Board 1 and Board 2 players were Philo and Brandon Alto, who as such grossed 4 trophies in one go!
