Emile Boucquet Prolongs Friday Standard Chess Title

We played the sixth and final round of our standard time control Autumn tournament (part 2) on Friday, 13 December. Fatigue played a role with all players.

Zeth who had a dazzling start with 4 out of 4, even beating the winner of part 1 of the Autumn series, Emile, lost some steam in round 5 and in round 6 had to give in once more, this time to Brandon. Brandon had only lost in round 2 from Emile and ended with 5 points strongly on the 2nd Place, after Emile who with 5 points and better tie-break, claimed 1st Place again!

Zion lost in the last round from Emile and with 4.5 points ended 3rd Place. Lok Sum played a very strong tournament and ended 4th, also with 4.5 points but less tie-break points.

Silas, Zion's brother and one of the youngest players ended 6th with 4 points and this within reach of a trophy ... again!

The Best U0 Prize was for Ching Yin who played several good games. Brandon Young won Best U12 and Kyle was Best U16.
