Exciting Close to the MAGiC Autumn Cycle at Caissa U7 & Y9 - 秋季賽賽後報告

Last Sunday, Caissa kicked off December with an exciting event that showcased over 20 young talented players from two age groups, U7 and U9, competing in the monthly MAGiC tournament.

Caissa於12 月首日舉辦了一場緊張又刺激的比賽，超過 20 位來自兩個年齡組別（U7 和 U9）的年輕棋手進行了每月一場的 MAGiC 比賽，一决高下。

MAGiC stands for Monthly Age Group in Caissa. It provides a vital platform for young chess enthusiasts. The event opens opportunities for players to play against opponents of varying ages and skill levels, simulating the dynamics of an actual tournament setting.

The time control for the said tournament was 15-minute without increment, creating an extremely intense atmosphere in the playing area. Players could have had a winning position but slipped away in the final moments because of running out of time, leading to highly unpredictable outcomes.

After 2-hour battling of the big brains, the results for the U7 category were as follows:

Champion: Philip Son, with a perfect score of 5/5

2nd Place: Nathan Chak Hei Chau, scoring 4/5

3rd Place: Godwin Li, scoring 3/5

MAGiC 是Caissa 的每月分齡比賽，為年輕的國際象棋棋手提供了一個不可多得的平台。這個活動讓參賽者有機會與不同年齡和水平的對手對抗，模擬真正比賽的氛圍。

本次比賽採用的時間為每方15 分鐘，沒有加秒，令比賽現場充滿了緊張的氣氛。有些選手可能在局面佔據了絕佳優勢，但因時間不足而失利，這也使得比賽結果有著很高的不確定性。

經過兩小時的「最強大腦對決」，U7 組的比賽結果如下：

This was the 4th and the last tournament of the MAGiC Autumn Cycle. Participants scores from their best three performances are accumulated and qualified for the Autumn Champion Title Trophy.
